Job Summary
Assistant Head Coach in Nike’s Berlin store leads and develops a diverse team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals. Works with the Head Coach and other leaders to recruit, onboard, and develop staff, manage performance, and optimize store operations. Oversees Commercial, Athlete, and Customer Experience areas, implements Nike strategies (sustainability, Nike membership, digital offerings), and provides insights to strengthen the store’s local market positioning while ensuring adherence to Nike standards. Strong customer service, stakeholder collaboration, and leadership capabilities are essential; weekend and shift availability is required.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years or more experience in retail and/or leadership
- Verhandlungssicheres Deutsch und Englisch (German and English, in written and spoken)
- Proven customer service experience
- Ability to lead and develop a high-performing team
- Willingness to work weekends and shifts
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Self-starter with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Experience in achieving sales targets and managing store operations
