Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager leads a high-energy retail team, recruits and develops staff, ensures a superior customer experience, and manages visual merchandising, merchandise receipt, replenishment, and markdowns. Responsible for opening/closing the store, handling deposits, ensuring timely e-commerce order fulfillment, driving daily/monthly/annual sales goals and shrink reduction, maintaining store assets, supporting scheduling, and assisting the Store Manager with performance reviews. Requires leadership ability, training and development skills, team collaboration, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while upholding brand standards and store procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school degree or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year retail management experience
- Ability to lead a team, delegate, and follow-up
- Ability to train and develop employees
- Ability to work well within a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work a schedule based upon the business needs – including holidays, nights, and weekends
- Strong verbal and communication skills
