Job Summary
As the Assistant Store Manager in Amsterdam, you will be the right-hand to the Store Manager, helping to lead a service-focused and motivated team while ensuring smooth daily operations, tracking KPIs, and contributing to sales and service targets. You will provide standout service by guiding customers through the eye-test journey, using optical skills to assist in selecting appropriate glasses and frames, and performing precise adjustments and lens trimming. Fluency in Dutch with good English for team collaboration, a strong eye for customer experience, and the ability to work full-time are required.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent Dutch language; basic English for effective communication and teamwork
- Experience in retail/supervisory roles preferably in eyewear/retail
- Customer service excellence and ability to guide customers through eye tests
- Ability to follow KPIs and contribute to sales and service targets
- Hands-on optical skills: assist customers in selecting lenses and frames, fine-tune glasses, trim lenses
- Team leadership and collaboration with Store Manager
- Willingness to work in Amsterdam location
- Full-time availability
