Job Summary
Assist Store Manager in overseeing complete retail operations store-wide, supervise associates to maintain productivity and morale, deliver superior customer service, manage employee relations and evaluations, monitor budgets and payroll, handle inventory flow and shrinkage control, and train staff using standardized processes and the company’s Customer Service approach. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with hands-on responsibilities in coaching, performance feedback, scheduling, safety, and store-wide operational execution. Proficiency with basic computer software (Word, Excel, Email) and familiarity with Epicor or similar systems is expected. Must have high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of managerial experience in retail. The position emphasizes promoting customer service as the top priority and applying The Stan’s Way approach to staff and customers.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- Management experience and/or sufficient retail knowledge
- Technically skilled in basic computer knowledge and software (Word, Excel, Email, internet research)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to motivate and lead store-wide
- 3 to 5 years of managerial and supervisory experience in business management
