Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager role supporting daily operations of self-storage locations under the guidance of the District Manager and Store Manager. Responsibilities include building customer relationships through in-person and phone interactions, implementing a structured sales process to maximize unit rentals and moving-supplies sales, managing customer accounts, handling billing and payments, and conducting daily site safety inspections. The role emphasizes maintaining high cleanliness standards, delivering exceptional customer service, managing cash transactions and bank deposits, resolving customer concerns (billing, security, auctions, site usage), and upholding company culture across multiple locations with potential Sundays off depending on location. Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of customer-facing work experience
- Sales experience preferred
- Current valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle; except in New York City and Brooklyn
- High School diploma or GED is required; college education is a plus
