Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager leading store operations and staff across multiple departments to ensure product quality, safety, inventory integrity, and strong customer service. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training and developing partners; scheduling, directing work, evaluating performance; inventory management, pricing, planograms, and adherence to company standards. Drives sales and profitability through effective merchandising, loss prevention, safety practices, and daily store leadership activities including opening/closing the store, staff coverage, and ensuring a clean, welcoming shopping environment. Requires associates degree in related field and relevant experience; ability to manage budgets, analyze sales data, and communicate with leadership. Physical duties include lifting up to 75 lbs, standing/walking for long periods, and operating pallet jacks; must work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Associates Degree in related field and two or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.
- HIPAA certification within 2 weeks
- TABC/LACT/AATC/ABLE certification within 2 weeks where applicable
- Manager Food Safety certification within 2 weeks
- AML certification within 2 weeks
- ability to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to operate manual or electric pallet jack
- ability to safely work with sharp objects
- physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs
