Job Summary
Lead by example, mentoring and inspiring your team daily while supporting the Store Manager in coaching staff to achieve and develop their knowledge and skills. Consistently provide an exceptional customer experience, manage stock effectively to ensure accuracy and integrity, and assist in maintaining visual merchandising standards. Recruit, onboard, and induct high-calibre new team members, proactively support local marketing opportunities, and demonstrate initiative by keeping your knowledge up to date on pet care and products. Foster a fun, supportive in-store culture and maintain a strong safety mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a similar store leadership role
- Demonstrated drive to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and build a high-performing teams whilst fostering a positive culture
- Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities, ensuring timely completion of tasks
- Ability to drive safe Work, Health & Safety practices
- Established business acumen
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and the wider team
