Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager duties include building and maintaining strong customer relationships by identifying storage needs and offering tailored solutions; driving sales through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies; ensuring high cleanliness standards and ongoing site maintenance; performing daily safety inspections; handling billing, payments, and daily bank deposits; resolving customer concerns; and upholding the company culture. The role supports multiple self-storage locations under district guidance, with daytime hours and potential Sundays off depending on location. Requires 1+ year of customer-facing work, a valid driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle, and a High School diploma or GED (college education a plus); bilingual Spanish is preferred. Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of customer-facing work experience
- Sales experience preferred
- Current valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle (except in New York City and Brooklyn)
