Assistant Store Leader

Assist store manager in all departments and operations to ensure an exceptional customer shopping experience and a best-in-class Kroger reputation. Responsibilities include leading merchandising/operating initiatives, developing action plans from Associate Insight results, coordinating with department heads to identify opportunities, modeling high-level customer service, managing store operations in the manager’s absence, driving sales and budgets, supporting budgets and labor costs, analyzing competitive landscape, ensuring compliance with laws and enterprise policies, and fostering inclusion and community relations. Position requires strong leadership, relationship-building with union representatives where applicable, and the ability to coach direct reports and optimize store performance.
