Assistant Store Director

Job Summary
Assist the Store Director by learning and managing all areas of the store, ensuring departments are fully staffed, trained, and operating efficiently; monitor purchasing, stocking, selling, payroll and other expenses to maintain store profitability; oversee facility appearance, safety, and equipment; train others to perform department functions; manage selection, scheduling, and supervision of staff; greet customers and provide prompt service; maintain product knowledge, pricing, and preparation methods; perform financial planning including budgeting and reporting; communicate with SpartanNash personnel and contribute to corporate plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) in Business Administration, or related field
- Three years of experience in a retail grocery environment with increasing levels of responsibility
- One year of experience in a supervisory or lead role, preferably in a retail environment
- Proficient Computer (email, spreadsheets, etc)
