Job Summary
Lead store operations across the East Detroit Market as Assistant Store Director, overseeing planning, team leadership, staffing, training, performance management, customer service excellence, and merchandising to drive sales and profitability. Responsibilities include directing daily operations, forecasting staffing needs, executing planograms and endcaps, recruiting and developing talent, maintaining brand standards, and partnering with the community to support Meijer’s values. Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in retail/operations leadership and a proven ability to motivate and develop teams; includes focus on driving customer satisfaction, brand alignment, and financial performance.
