Job Summary

Support Station Manager with ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of services, providing managerial cover during absences, and overseeing staff performance management including vehicle checks, fleet maintenance bookings, and absence reviews. Conduct investigations into misconduct allegations, facilitate probation reviews, and maintain building compliance while ensuring crews stay updated on FSGB requirements. Manage communication across teams and respond flexibly to unplanned situations such as vehicle breakdowns or CQC audits. Work full-time, permanent hours (37.5 weeks) in Bournemouth, reporting to the Station Manager to enable the base to meet KPIs and support vulnerable patients across NHS contracts.

Required Qualifications

  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS Check
  • Satisfactory Employment and Character References
  • A Satisfactory Medical Assessment
  • Successful completion of a two-week mandatory training course on commencement of employment
  • Previous team leader/supervisory experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and organise effectively
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet deadlines and respond to unplanned situations
  • Previous experience working with a variety of management apps, and office 365 (Word, Excel etc)
  • Excellent communicator
  • Organised with excellent administrative skills and attention to detail
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of company policies and procedures
  • Attend mandatory training on Safeguarding children and adults
  • Ensure they are familiar with their and the organisation's requirements under relevant legislation
  • Adhere to all relevant national and local policies, procedures, and professional codes
  • Report any concerns to the appropriate authority
  • Maintaining professional boundaries as a Person in a Position of Trust (PiPoT)
