Job Summary
Assist Station Manager in day-to-day operations of a retail fuel and convenience store, supervise staff during shifts in the manager’s absence, provide work direction and coaching to ensure tasks are completed per CSI guidelines, uphold safety and security standards, manage cash handling and transactions, oversee inventory and loss-prevention processes, perform CSR duties as needed, and ensure compliance with wage/hour policies. Requires experience in fast-paced retail or food-service environments, strong customer service and communication skills, ability to work varied hours, and High School diploma or equivalent with ≥21 years in some locations. Must follow CSI safety standards and operate/store equipment while maintaining clean, safe, and compliant store operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent and minimum 21 years of age (varies by location)
- Previous experience in a fast-paced retail, food service or fuel environment, including cash handling and customer service
- Demonstrated experience operating a cash register, computer console, and other related equipment, tools and software
- Knowledge and application of proper sanitation and safety requirements for food storage and serving
- Available to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills
- Proficiency in English to understand policies, safety training, and job instructions
Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older to work in California and Oregon locations
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older to work in Washington locations
- Must be able to work various shifts including graveyard 10pm-6am in applicable locations
