Job Summary
Recruit, audition, and roster student participants into speech team categories while obtaining and preparing performance materials and rights. Conduct rehearsals to develop vocal delivery, blocking, and technical presentation skills, then coordinate set, props, and costumes for contests. Support performers at events, document student concerns, and communicate schedule details to parents and guardians. Assist with home-sponsored contests, consult on discipline issues, and promote the program through district awareness. Enhance coaching development by attending workshops and conventions.

- Must exhibit ethical practices and be a role model to students
Desired Qualifications
- Enhance coaching development by attending summer workshops, fall conventions, spring meetings, and other enrichment opportunities which may include becoming a certified IHSSA judge
