Job Summary
Assist classroom or resource teacher in achieving student learning objectives per IEP; work with individual students or small groups to reinforce skills; support classroom management and implement student-specific behavior plans; provide personal care support for students as needed; accompany students to general education and special area classes; utilize de-escalation techniques; participate in in-service training; assist with lunch, snack, and cleanup routines; maintain records and data as directed; maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required. Advanced work in special education preferred.
