Job Summary
General Manager in Training at Hand & Stone Spa-Falls Church leads the front desk team to drive membership, retail, gift card, and service sales while ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities include owning daily front desk operations, coaching and developing front desk staff, ensuring booking efficiency and client interactions meet service goals, promoting services and upgrades, supporting operational execution with the Spa Leadership Team, and enabling a high-performance front desk culture. The role emphasizes sales execution, guest flow management, training and onboarding of new/front desk team members, cash handling and reporting support, and maintaining consistent, momentum-building daily operations. Strong leadership, customer-service orientation, and a solutions-focused mindset are required, with flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays. Experience with booking systems (e.g., Zenoti) is a plus, and compensation combines hourly pay with commissions and performance bonuses, with earnings up to around $45,000 depending on performance.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of leadership experience preferred
