Job Summary
Assistant Softball Coach at Moyock Middle School responsible for coaching softball at middle/high school levels, teaching fundamental softball skills, understanding game rules, traveling with the team for away games, maintaining field condition and equipment, and fostering positive relationships with students, the school, and the community. Collaboration with the Principal and Athletic Director is implied, with duties including teamwork, organization, and effective communication to support student-athletes.
Required Qualifications
- Middle School or High School coaching experience preferred
- Knowledgeable in softball and ability to teach fundamental skills
- Ability to travel with team on away games
- Ability to work cooperatively with others and maintain positive relationships with school and community
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate professional behavior
- Understanding of softball rules and game regulations
- Maintain field conditions and manage uniforms and equipment
