Job Summary

Monitor construction schedules and coordinate with trades to ensure timelines align with project goals while documenting cost impacts. Assist the Site Superintendent with onsite supervision, framing inspections, and verifying completion of customer upgrades. Prepare weekly progress reports, manage subcontractor communications, and organize inspections with city officials and consultants. Enforce safety policies, verify trade contracts and insurance, and promote clean worksites. Review contract drawings to ensure construction adheres to specifications and support seasonal work as weather permits.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 year of experience in at least one construction discipline, with an understanding of multi‐family construction
  • Working knowledge of multi‐family wood‐frame construction and framing carpentry
  • Understanding of the Alberta Building Code, Alberta Lien Act, and Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) requirements
  • General ability to read and interpret construction drawings, including structural, mechanical, and electrical
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • High School Diploma
  • Gold Seal Certificates and Safety Certificate such as WHMIS

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‐solving capabilities
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams and external trades and suppliers
