Job Summary

Manage inventory protection, asset management, and operational issues at a company-owned Integrated Business Solutions location. Develop quality personnel, set high performance standards, and ensure merchandise is received, put away, and bar-coded accurately. Maintain and develop local non-NAPA vendor relationships while sourcing parts needs and negotiating pricing, inventory, and service privileges. Respond to customer purchase and service questions, track value-added items, and ensure compliance with all contract requirements and approved line codes. Minimize inventory shrinkage, handle daily/weekly/monthly reconciliations with the Site Manager, and foster positive relationships between customers and staff. Perform assigned tasks including hazmat training compliance, facility maintenance, and operating point-of-sale systems in a fast-paced fleet shop environment.

Required Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • ASE certified within twelve months
  • Ability to manage two or more people
  • Prioritize and delegate to team members
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Demonstrated leadership in the automotive after-market industry
  • Automotive parts department, dealership, jobber, heavy duty and/or fleet establishment experience
  • Working knowledge of the organization's store services
  • High character and integrity
  • Personal drive, self-motivation and initiative
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Capability to operate a point-of-sale system
  • Cataloging proficiency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to use internet for parts research and sourcing
  • Ability to learn and use customer fleet management software
  • Capability to move engine blocks, core barrels, and other heavy equipment with moving aids
