Job Summary
Assistant Site Manager role focusing on site operations, inventory control, vendor relations, customer satisfaction, and team leadership. Responsibilities include managing inventory protection, asset management, ensuring contract compliance, maintaining stockroom organization, processing orders and inquiries, tracking value-added items, and coordinating with management to meet service levels. Requires HS diploma or equivalent (ASE certification encouraged, technical/college coursework a plus), ability to lead two or more people, strong communication, problem-solving, and proficiency with POS, MS Office, and fleet management software. Emphasizes safety training (hazmat) and adherence to IBS/BS policies while fostering a positive customer-staff relationship and achieving high performance outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- Technical school, and/or college degree a plus
- ASE certified within twelve months
- Ability to manage two or more people, prioritize and delegate to team members
- Strong communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Capable of providing strong leadership to the operation to create a high performance team (customer focus, open communication, coaching and feedback)
- Ability to learn and use customer fleet management software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and using internet for parts research and sourcing
- Ability to operate a point-of-sale system and cataloging
