Job Summary
Prepare quarterly forecasts, budgets, and performance reports while driving action plans to meet objectives. Own standard product costing and provide financial support for new product development and capital investment cases. Ensure compliance with statutory procedures, maintain the site asset register, and conduct periodic balance sheet reconciliation reviews. Act as a business partner to cost centre managers, supporting overheads management and mentoring on financial matters. Supervise the offshore finance function, including training and serving as the first point of contact, while deputising for the Regional Finance Manager as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Experience of Financial Analysis / modelling / investment appraisal techniques
- Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel, and Word/PowerPoint)
- Willing to commit towards the completion of a recognised professional qualification such as CIMA/ACA/ACCA
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to make financial analysis easily understood
- Ability to plan effectively and work under own initiative
- Able to demonstrate communication and leadership ability, with the gravitas to build solid, successful working relationships cross functionally
