Assistant Shop Manager

Check in with customers before they leave the shop to ensure satisfaction and assume the responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager during their absence. Run the floor by verifying each employee's location, checking every vehicle, and confirming customer readiness. Perform opening and closing procedures, assist with inventory counting and adjustments, and maintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness. Execute technician duties including draining motor oil, changing filters, adjusting tire pressure, inspecting fluids, processing payments, and performing coolant exchanges. Train and develop subordinates while holding team members accountable and serving as a role model. Work in a family environment with a career path from Pit Tech to President, requiring physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver in a shallow pit.
