Job Summary
Manage and schedule all outbound and inbound loads by coordinating with sales and production personnel to ensure proper loading and shipping orders. Verify driver logs, negotiate carrier rates, and select appropriate transportation modes while ensuring all paperwork complies with DOT regulations. Resolve supplier and customer transportation issues, document order shortages, and audit freight bills for payment. File claims for inventory loss or damage, trace expediting orders, and prepare required reports and correspondence.
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Production Manager or equivalent
- Preferred experience and knowledge of UFP's organization, culture, and product lines
