Job Summary
Lead and support a team of adoption counselors and animal care technicians at the Kenosha Campus; oversee and coordinate shelter operations, scheduling, training, and implementation of standards for animal care and client services; collaborate with campus leaders to coordinate intercampus transfers; address priority client issues related to surrenders and adoptions; provide staffing support and promote a professional, collaborative, and compassionate work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated alignment with WHS values such as compassion, respect, kindness; ability to navigate emotional aspects of animal welfare work; availability to flex schedule including weekends/holidays; physical capability to perform duties including lifting up to 50 pounds; ability to partner with diverse clients, staff, and volunteers; organized, self-starting with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
