Job Summary
Assistant Manager at VIP Automotive in Williston, VT, serving as the second in command to the Service Manager. Leads the team in the manager’s absence, ensures safety, delivers a superior customer experience, and executes VIP programs and standards. Focuses on customer engagement, coaching and developing staff, coordinating service dispatch, maintaining facility and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety, municipal, state and federal policies, and driving the shop to achieve high performance and SAX scores. Requires strong leadership, communication, and automotive servicing knowledge; ASE certifications (C1, P2, G1) and state inspection experience are preferred; regular 5-day work week and 40 hours per week; hourly pay type.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid drivere29s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
