Job Summary
Assistant Manager at VIP Automotive Services in Somersworth, NH, serving as second in command to the Service Manager. Responsible for leading the team in delivering a different and better customer experience, ensuring workplace safety, adherence to VIP processes, and compliance with policies and regulations. Responsibilities include coaching and developing staff, overseeing dispatch and work-order assignment to technicians, driving VIP Sales & Execution scores, managing daily communications and meetings, maintaining facility and equipment, and ensuring regulatory and ethical compliance across the service location.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
