Job Summary
Assistant Service Manager in Rutland, VT to lead the team in the Service location in the absence of the Service Manager. Responsible for safety compliance, delivering VIP customer experience, coaching staff, managing daily operations, coordinating service desk activities, training and supporting ASE-certified technicians, and ensuring adherence to VIP processes and company policies. Requires automotive service management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and knowledge of ASE certifications and state inspections.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
