Job Summary
Sell repairs and services responsive to customer needs by presenting maintenance menus, obtaining accurate cost estimates, and securing written or telephone approval for all repair orders. Write and distribute repair orders accurately, maintain service scheduling forms, and document flat rate timekeeping per manufacturer procedures. Communicate vehicle problem information to technical staff, confirm appointments, and report any safety or integrity concerns to management. Meet monthly sales metrics and an average of 2.0 hours per repair order in customer-pay labor. Maintain a positive attitude and valid driver's license while attending annual training to promote continuous quality improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/equivalent
- Previous automotive dealership experience
- Thorough knowledge of customer service excellence
- Ability to effectively interact with customers
- Positive attitude
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced automotive sales environment
- Working knowledge of computer systems, such as databases and Dealership Management Systems
- Strong communications skills
- Strong attention to details
- Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
