Job Summary
Assistant Manager position in automotive service at VIP; acts as second-in-command to Service Manager, leads team to deliver VIP customer experience, ensures safety, compliance with policies and procedures, and execution of VIP programs; responsibilities include supervising staff, LMS/ASE training, coordinating work orders, maintaining facility/equipment, and communicating with customers and management; standard 5-day, 40-hour schedule; requires automotive service management experience and ASE certifications, with emphasis on leadership, safety, and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
- Equipment Safety Certification
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
