Job Summary
Assistant Manager at VIP Automotive in Hillsborough, NH, acting as second in command to the Service Manager to ensure safe, compliant operations and an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include leading the team in the Service Manager’s absence, ensuring safety and policy compliance, educating customers on vehicle conditions via VIP processes and MPI results, achieving VIP SAX scores, coordinating and executing managerial activities, overseeing LMS training and vendor training, ensuring ASE certifications for staff, dispatching work orders to technicians, maintaining facility and equipment, enforcing the service Code of Ethics and regulatory procedures, and supporting management through daily/weekly/monthly reporting. Standard schedule is a 5-day, 40-hour work week; requires strong leadership, communication, and automotive servicing knowledge. PayType: Hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
