Job Summary
Assistant Manager role serving as second in command at VIP dealership location in Ellsworth, ME. Responsible for leading the team in the Service Department, ensuring safety compliance, delivering a different and better customer experience, and executing VIP programs and standards. Key duties include prioritizing workplace safety, consulting with customers about vehicle condition using MPI results, supervising and coaching staff, ensuring LMS and vendor trainings are completed, coordinating dispatch and work orders to technicians, maintaining facility and equipment, and ensuring compliance with service codes and municipal/state/federal regulations. Requires automotive service knowledge, strong leadership and communication skills, and relevant ASE certifications and licenses.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
