Job Summary
Assistant Service Manager at VIP Auto in Concord, NH serves as the second in command to the Service Manager, leading the team in their absence and ensuring safe, compliant operations and an exceptional customer experience by executing VIP processes, coaching staff, and delivering high-performance results. Responsibilities include enforcing safety policies, communicating with customers about vehicle conditions and MPI results, developing a superior team, coordinating training and certifications (LMS, ASE, C1/P2/G1 as applicable), managing dispatch and allocation of work orders to technicians, maintaining facility and equipment standards, and ensuring adherence to service ethics and regulatory requirements. Standard work week is 5 days and 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1– Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
