Job Summary
Assistant Service Manager in Auburn, ME to support the Service Manager, lead the team in delivering VIP customer experiences, ensure safety compliance, mentor staff, manage technician dispatch, and uphold dealership/service standards. Responsibilities include safety prioritization, customer consultation on vehicle condition, achieving VIP SAX scores, executing managerial activities, training and LMS completion, ASE certifications, vendor training, and maintaining facility and service operations. Standard 5-day, 40-hour work week with hourly pay; requires automotive service management knowledge and relevant certifications; includes ensuring compliance with Code of Ethics and municipal/state regulations; driver’s license required.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
Desired Qualifications
