Job Summary
Lead and manage large multidisciplinary catering and village services teams to deliver high-quality catering, hospitality, and accommodation services at remote mine-site operations. Drive workforce planning, rostering, and resource management while ensuring food safety/HACCP compliance, safety, and contractual requirements. Build strong client relationships with site leadership and stakeholders, monitor performance through reporting and continuous improvement, and coach team members to achieve operational and service excellence in an inclusive, safe workplace. Must be willing to travel to and from work, endure remote environments and extreme weather, and pass pre-employment medical and police checks. “FIFO” role located in Tantangara, NSW, Australia with in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing large catering and village services teams
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP principles
- Proven leadership experience within remote sites, camps, hospitality, catering, accommodation, or village environments
- Excellent people leadership, stakeholder engagement, and client relationship management skills
- Experience supporting operational compliance, service delivery standards, and continuous improvement programs
- Ability to travel safely to and from work
- Physically fit and able to work long shifts (up to 11 hours)
- National Police Check within last 6 months
- Ability to endure remote environments in extreme weather conditions
- Must pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening
