Job Summary
Conduct professional food and beverage service to all guests, including setting up tables, serving water and coffee, and greeting guests by name. Complete closing duties such as storing reusable goods, breaking down equipment, cleaning areas, and restocking items. Inspect china, glass, and silver for cleanliness before use and maintain work areas using clean-as-you-go procedures. Follow safety policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete required training. Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and navigating uneven surfaces. Maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Ability to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print)
