Job Summary
Supervise operations at assigned client sites by managing a team of security officers, handling escalated incidents, and conducting general patrols of the property. Coordinate scheduling, payroll, and training for staff while ensuring high-quality security services protect people and property. Reconcile logs, review incident reports, and maintain operational procedures and post orders for emergency reference. Utilize access control, visitor management, and CCTV systems to identify tenants, manage visitors, and monitor the facility. Assist tenants with directions and record data regarding property damage or unusual occurrences. Perform duties in various weather conditions, including extended periods of standing, walking, and stair climbing. Weekend and holiday availability may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Weekend and holiday availability
- Previous experience in security, military or law enforcement
- State training and licensing assistance may be available for qualified candidates
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 3 years prior satisfactory employment as a security officer or directly related experience
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Security License if required by state
- Driver's license as applicable
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to pass criminal background check
- Ability to maintain a working telephone number
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to accommodate foot patrols on the interior & exterior of the assigned facility
- Ability to perform assigned duties regardless of inclement weather
