Job Summary
Assistant Security Director at Springfield Town Center overseeing a security contract, managing accountability of Supervisors and staff, and taking full responsibility for performance, service, and budget of assigned contracts. Establishes relationships with local police and fire departments, facility personnel, and other stakeholders. Leads security procedures, ensures post orders are followed, conducts rounds, and maintains logs/reports. Responsible for training, payroll submissions, and ensuring adequate security coverage; collaborates with client representatives to meet security requirements and deliver high-quality customer service. Requires knowledge of life safety systems, CCTV, access control, and ability to manage staff, safety programs, and compliance with applicable laws.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent; Associates Degree.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system.
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State.
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus.
