Job Summary
Assistant Security Director at Springfield Town Center: oversee security contract performance, manage accountable supervision and staff, and ensure quality service. Provide lead direction at client site(s) to enforce security/safety programs, ensure post orders and rounds are followed, and maintain thorough reports. Develop security procedures, respond to emergencies, liaise with local police and fire departments, coordinate training for security staff, manage budgets and staffing plans, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies. Maintain strong client relationships, monitor account performance, and drive improvements in safety and security operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent; Associates Degree; Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment conditioned upon successful completion of a background investigation
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State (DCJS License # 11-5200)
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
