Job Summary
Assistant Security Director to support a security contract at Springfield Town Center; manages Supervisors and staff, overseeing performance, service, and budget for assigned accounts. Establishes working relationships with local police and fire departments, facility personnel, and clients; ensures security procedures, post orders, rounds, and reporting; leads training, staffing, and development of security programs; maintains compliance with safety regulations and company policies; responsible for payroll coordination, client communications, and ensuring a high standard of professional presentation and customer service. Position requires leadership across security operations, budgeting, and related administrative duties; DCJS license and local licensing requirements apply; background check required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent
- Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
