Job Summary
Assistant Security Director at Springfield Town Center oversees security contract operations, manages Supervisors and staff, and holds accountability for performance, service, and budget of assigned contracts. Responsibilities include leading security procedures, ensuring post orders are followed, maintaining daily/weekly reports, coordinating with local police and fire departments, training Security Officers and Shift Lead Officers, and ensuring compliance with life safety and facility policies. Requires strong leadership, staffing/design of security plans, vendor relationships, licensing compliance, and the ability to manage customer relations and program development to meet service levels.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent; Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of management position within Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
