Job Summary
Assistant Security Director responsible for managing security operations under a contract at client site (Springfield Town Center). Manages accountability and performance of Supervisors and staff, oversees budget and service delivery, and maintains a safe environment for employees, vendors, and visitors. Establishes relationships with local police and fire departments, enforces post orders and safety programs, oversees training and discipline, prepares reports and payroll-related information, and coordinates with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met. Requires leadership, knowledge of life safety, CCTV systems and access control, and ability to develop security procedures, staff plans, and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent
- Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) in a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- Background investigation clearance
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
