Job Summary
Assistant Security Director responsibilities include supporting security contract management for a Springfield Town Center account, supervising Supervisors and staff, and owning performance, service, and budget for assigned contracts. Establish relationships with local police and fire departments, ensure a safe environment, develop and implement security procedures, monitor post orders, conduct training, supervise payroll and reporting, and coordinate with client representatives to meet security requirements and deliver quality customer service. Requires leadership, personnel development, and strong knowledge of life safety, CCTV, access control, and security operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
