Job Summary
Assistant Security Director role overseeing security contracts at Springfield Town Center site; manage accountability and performance of Supervisors and staff, oversee budget and service delivery, ensure compliance with safety policies, establish relationships with local police and fire departments, supervise post orders and security procedures, train and develop security personnel, and liaise with clients to deliver high-quality security and customer service. Responsibilities include developing security procedures, ensuring safe operations of life-safety systems (CCTV, fire panels, elevators), conducting reports and logs, coordinating with operations management, and maintaining compliance with licensing and training requirements. Requires leadership experience, strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent
- Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
