Assistant Security Director

Job Summary
Assist in managing a Security contract as Assistant Security Director by overseeing Supervisors and staff, ensuring accountability for performance, service and budget, and maintaining a safe environment for employees, vendors, and visitors. Develop and implement security procedures, enforce post orders, coordinate with local police and fire departments, provide leadership and training to security personnel, manage client relations and reporting, and collaborate with management to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Responsibilities include site leadership, staffing plans, payroll support, incident documentation, and continuous improvement of security operations across assigned accounts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent; Associates Degree; Bachelor’s degree or related field
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
