Job Summary
Assistant Security Director responsible for helping manage a security contract at Springfield Town Center. Leads and mentors Supervisors and staff, ensuring post orders are followed, rounds conducted, and reports/logs filed daily. Develops and implements security procedures, coordinates with life-safety systems (CCTV, elevators, access controls), maintains knowledge of emergency policies, and liaises with client representatives and local authorities. Manages budgeting, staffing plans, payroll, and coordination of training for Security Officers and Shift Leads, while achieving client satisfaction and quality service. Requires strong leadership, organization, and interpersonal skills, with ability to adapt to multiple sites and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent
- Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) in a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
