Job Summary
Assistant Security Director with responsibility for managing a security contract at Springfield Town Center (Lincoln, VA). Oversees accountability and performance of Supervisors and staff, ensures safety for employees and visitors, develops and implements security procedures, maintains post orders, coordinates with local police and fire departments, and supports facility operations. Requires leadership, budget oversight, personnel development, training, payroll and reporting duties, and compliance with life safety and security standards. Demands knowledge of facility layouts, CCTV systems, emergency procedures, post inspections, staffing plans, licensing requirements, and strong customer service and relationship management with clients.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent; Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of management experience within Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
