Job Summary
Assistant Security Director at Springfield Town Center; oversee security contract operations, manage Supervisors and staff, and take full accountability for performance, service, and budget of assigned contracts. Establish relationships with local police and fire departments, lead security procedures, ensure post orders and rounds are followed, and maintain comprehensive reports/logs. Responsible for staff development, training of Security Officers and Shift Lead Officers, payroll and personnel information processing, and ensuring safety and compliance with life safety and security standards. Drive staffing plans, recruitment, and evaluation of performance; communicate with client representatives and operations management to ensure quality service and meet contractual obligations. Maintain knowledge of emergency policies and applicable laws, and promote professional conduct and customer service excellence.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent
- Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
