Job Summary
Assistant Security Director responsible for assisting in managing a security contract at Springfield Town Center. Manages accountability of Supervisors and staff, oversees performance, service, and budget for assigned contracts, and maintains a safe environment for employees, vendors, and visitors. Establishes working relationships with local police and fire departments, facility management, and other stakeholders. Ensures compliance with safety policies, leads post orders, conducts security procedures, and implements training programs for security personnel. Facilitates daily/weekly reporting, coordinates with operations management, and supports staffing plans, recruitment, and development of security staff. Demonstrates strong leadership, maintains professional presentation, and collaborates with clients to meet security requirements and deliver quality customer service.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent
- Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
