Job Summary
Assistant Security Director responsible for managing a security contract; supervise Supervisors and staff; accountable for performance, service and budget of assigned contracts; establish working relationships with local police and fire departments and facility representatives; develop and implement security procedures and compliance with policies and laws; oversee training of security officers and shift leads; coordinate with client representatives and management to ensure security requirements are met and provide quality customer service; requires experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems, and management within security; requires background checks and licensing as mandated; CPR/First Aid a plus; DCJS License # 11-5200; salary around $59,000; benefits include vacation/PTO and medical/dental/vision; strong leadership and organizational skills expected.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent; Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
