Job Summary
Assistant Security Director at Springfield Town Center oversees security contracts, manages Supervisors and staff, and is responsible for performance, service, and budget of assigned contracts. Establishes relationships with local police and fire departments, ensures post orders are followed, performs daily/weekly reporting, develops security procedures, trains and disciplines staff, and maintains safety and quality customer service across the site. Requires leadership, knowledge of life safety systems, CCTV, security operations, staffing design, and compliance with company policies and laws; must hold relevant licenses, have a background check, and possess a valid driver’s license. Salary is $59,000 with competitive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent; Associates Degree.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system.
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State.
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus.
